Interesting article! I'm glad I was able to spark inspiration with a comment.

I'm still skeptical of the charging network in my own country though, but perhaps that's because it's not uncommon to be driving six hours a day round trip in a place where our cities are extremely large and far apart from one another. Furthermore, because our provinces straddle the Rockies, I would find it interesting to see how the range of Teslas hold up to intense mountain driving - especially because charging stations are much less prevalent in the tiny communities that dot the main highway between Vancouver and the rest of the country. For this reason, hybrids seem to be a more reliable choice for now. Regardless, I know that Tesla and other electric car manufacturers are working hard to get us the infrastructure we need and that by the time I'm ready to get an electrical car, their ranges and infrastructure will be more than capable of handling the driving conditions of Canada.
